Crossroads selected for Co-op Local Community Fund

The current round of the Co-op Local Community Fund where our Memory Lane Project was selected as a local cause has closed.

We’ll let you know as soon as possible how much money was raised to provide our carer support workers with reminiscence based aids and prompts for people with dementia.

Thank you to everyone who supported us.

Fundraising by Crossroads Care Wokingham

Thanks to the hard work of our own Trustee Julia Tredwell, two events have been held to raise much needed funds for our work.

The first Crossroads Quiz was held in February 2017 raising a fantastic £380.79. For every £20 of that total Crossroads can now offer an hours break to a carer in need.

As part of the Carers Trust’s Big Breakfast carers awareness initiatives in October 2016 we held our own Best Breakfast, raising £387 towards our End of Life Care Project.
