As a carer, it is essential that you find ‘Me Time’ to take a break.  This could be time to visit friends or family, to go for a coffee and a chat, go swimming, take up a new hobby, it could even be time simply to go to sleep.  Without taking time off it is likely your own health will deteriorate and you may not be able to continue looking after the person you love and care for at home.

Crossroads Care Wokingham has a dedicated team of experienced carer support workers who are able to offer you a range of tailored made flexible breaks, from 3 hours to extended overnight packages or weekends. We also offer practical support to help with light household duties, shopping and collecting prescriptions.
